Dr. Sasso will provide an overview of newer and lesser known identities that will be appearing more in clinical practice. She will cover basics, including labels to be aware of and what they mean, as well as clinical issues to consider with various clients, and making clinical space for identities that are less culturally established to emerge. Topics will include sexual orientation (including the asexuality spectrum, bisexuality, pansexuality, and sexual fluidity), transgender, genderqueer and other gender spectrum identities, sexual and gender diverse couples (including non-monogamous mixed orientation couples), and BDSM/Kink.
